About

The internet has given us much to do and even more to ponder. This blog is a running commentary by long-time blogger and social media enthusiast AV Flox. It highlights the victories, side-effects, and dramas of this space, once so divorced from our analog lives, and now so much an inextricable part of our reality.

The name “OMG. OMG! OMFG!” is an abbreviation of “oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my flipping goodness!” The name was adopted as a domain after a friend of the author told her that a call from her would not be complete without the aforementioned exclamation: “It’s your trademark!” she told her. AV hopes not, but she can concede that it’s almost impossible to forget–and that’s the kind of thing you want when you’re shopping for domains.

Occasionally insider-y, always entertaining, OMG. OMG! OMFG! is the ultimate poolside must-read for webcocks, Scary Sadshaws and microceleb fanbois alike!

  • AV Flox writes about web culture; new media’s gradual overthrow of old media; trends in social media; and the complicated entanglements people get themselves into as we venture forth into this new world where, more and more, the analog is colliding with the digital.
